The main US stock indexes closed Friday with mixed results. The S&P 500 was virtually unchanged, while the Nasdaq fell 0.2% and the Dow Jones Industrial Average declined 0.1%. Year-to-date, the indexes have gained 7.4%, 8.8%, and 7.9%, respectively.

Regarding US Treasury yields, movements were downward across the curve. The 1-year Treasury yield fell from 3.94% to 3.91%, while the 3-year yield dropped from 4.12% to 4.09%. Meanwhile, the 10-year yield declined from 4.39% to 4.37%.

Commodity markets also saw mixed performance. Gold rose 1.5% to $4,088.7 per ounce, while soybeans fell 0.1% to $413.8 per ton. Oil prices fell 3.7% and 3.0%, respectively, closing at $69.2 and $73.0 per barrel.

Over the weekend, the ceasefire agreement between the United States and Iran experienced moments of tension, with renewed and isolated clashes between the two sides. However, a new understanding to halt hostilities was confirmed this morning, bringing some calm to the markets. In this context, oil prices remain stable, in line with weekend levels, following Friday's decline.
