In the United States, the week ended on a positive note for the major stock indices

Major US stock indices closed with gains on Friday. The S&P 500 rose 0.9% during the session, bringing its year-to-date gain to 11.9%. The Nasdaq advanced 1.0% for the day, with a cumulative rise of 13.3% for the year. Meanwhile, the Dow Jones gained 1.0% during the session, posting a 9.4% return so far in 2026. Attention this week will focus on the Fed's monetary policy meeting, with expectations that the benchmark rate will remain unchanged within the current 3.5%–3.75% range.

Regarding US Treasury yields, the 1-year rate moved from 4.28% to 4.32%. The 3-year bond yield rose from 4.69% to 4.72%, while the 10-year yield increased from 4.96% to 4.97%.

Finally, in the commodities market, gold rose 0.7% to USD 4,348.2 per ounce, whereas soybeans fell 2.7% to USD 470.4 per tonne. In the energy sector, WTI crude dropped 2.1% to USD 100.3 per barrel, and Brent crude fell 2.7% to USD 104.8 per barrel.
